Jews in Russia and Eastern Europe
The peer-reviewed scholarly journal, Jews in Russia and Eastern Europe was published by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1988 until 2008. It enjoyed a respected reputation in the field of East European Jewish studies as an academic platform and resource for professional scholars, community activists and institutions.
In January 2004, the Nevzlin Center began a partnership with the Avraham Harman Institute for Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University in the publication of the journal. Throughout its lifespan, Jews in Russia and Eastern Europe presented original articles from scholars throughout the world, as well as annotated archival documents in English, Russian, and Hebrew.
Publication of the journal was suspended in 2008. The last issue published was volume 58 (2007). For further information about the journal and to view Tables of Contents from many of its issues, please visit the website of the Avraham Harman
